PAFI filters are the workhorses of the rural water scenario. They prevent the staining attributed to trace metals such as Iron and Manganese, and remove odours such as hydrogen sulphide. This is accomplished through the use of atmospheric oxygen, eliminating the need for chemical oxidizers.

Zeolite Sediment Filters

PMF filters are the newest technology in sediment / turbidity reduction. Zeolite is a porous material that removes microscopic particles by trapping them internally. With sufficient bed depth, this media is capable of achieving a nominal filtration rating of about 5 microns. Particles of this size appear as a fog in the water and are individually indistinguishable.
